The death has occurred of Tommy Hunter, Dromore, Co Tyrone.

Hunter Tommy, (Dromore, Co Tyrone) formerly of 10 Dooish Road, Dromore BT78 3AX died peacefully at the South West Acute Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday 15th May 2024. Beloved husband of Myra.

Treasured father of Paul (Tina), Tom (Michelle), Mark (Tracey) and Damian (Shauna). Loving and devoted grandfather to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of Margaret O’Mahony, Anne Maguire, Celine and the late Noel, Frankie and Kathleen Hunter.

Tommy will be reposing in his late residence from 11am until 9pm on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th May.

Tommy will leave his late residence at 10.20am on Saturday 18th May for 11am requiem Mass in St Davog’s Church Dromore, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please with donations in lieu kindly accepted for the Community Respiratory Team c/o McAtee Funeral Directors.

For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Tommy will travel from the Dooish Road, along Main Street and the Omagh Road, to arrive at St Davog’s Church for 10.50am.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.
