Frances passed away on the 4th of January 2023.  A widely respected, devoted family lady and much-loved mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. 

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who called to the family home, telephoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu of flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Our thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Seán McCartan PP for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan, Altar boy and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musicians Fergal McAloon and Stephen Corrigan who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Brendan for preparing Frances’s final resting place.

Our thanks also to Tattyreagh GAC for the use of their car park and to The Cheeky Fox Restaurant for providing the lovely refreshments after the funeral.

We would also like to thank all the staff of Harold McCauley House, who cared so well for Frances with great dedication. Your excellent care, professional support, warmth, and diligence will never be forgotten.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

The death has occurred of Leo McClenaghan, Fintona, Co Tyrone.

McClenaghan Leo (Fintona) formerly of 4 Monasterbane Fold, Fintona BT78 2UK died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Philadelphia on Thursday 22nd December 2022. Treasured father of John (Fergal), Daniel (Katie), Leona (Lena) and Kelly (Hugh). Devoted and loving grandfather of Orla, Daniel, Tiernan, Katie and PJ and cherished brother.
Leo will be reposing in his sister Bernie’s residence 64 Ashfield Gardens, Fintona, BT78 2DD from 3pm on Monday 30th January for family and close friends. Leo’s public wake will take place from 4pm to 9pm in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, BT78 2BY from 4pm until 9pm on Wednesday 1st February.
Leo will leave his sister Bernie’s residence at 12.00 noon on Thursday 2nd February for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballygawley followed by his burial afterwards in Ballymacilroy Cemetery. We, the family of the late Jean Brogan R.I.P., would like to express our sincerest appreciation to all those who sympathised, prayed, and supported us through the recent passing of our much loved mum, nanny, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, and friend. We sincerely thank our friends, good neighbours, wider family, and community who attended the wake and funeral Mass. Thanks to all those who sent or brought food or helped in any way during the wake, including PRO for providing outside street lighting. We thank those who lined the funeral route and the respect paid by the staff and businesses at Glendale. We have been overwhelmed and appreciate the many Mass and sympathy cards and messages of support sent to us.
A special word of thanks to Rev. Father Mc Elhennon P.P. for his spiritual guidance and for the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thank you to all who participated in the Mass including Ciara Fox and Aidan Kelly for the lovely music, the Eucharistic Ministers, and the Sacristan. Thank you also to Mc Atee Bros. Thanks to all those who cared for Mum particularly over this past six months; the District Nursing Team, Omagh Group Pharmacy, Drumragh Family Practice, WHSCT Community Team, BOC, Marie Curie, and the domiciliary carers.
We also wish to thank all the health and care teams who provided care to our Mum on her recent admission to SWAH, her treatment in Ward 8 and discharge. It was only through their support and endeavour that we managed to get Mum home before Christmas.

The death has occurred of Anna O’Donnell, Clogher, Co Tyrone.

O’Donnell Anna, formerly McElroy, nee Hackett, (Eskra) formerly of Ballaghneed, Clogher and Corryglass, Fintona died peacefully on Thursday the 26th January 2023 in The South West Acute Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late William O’Donnell and Arthur McElroy. Treasured mother of Damien and mother in law of Kate. Devoted grandmother to Daniel and Anna. Cherished sister of Maureen McCarron, Rosaleen Rodgers and the late Patrick, Bernard, Donald and Felix. Anna will be reposing in St Macartans Nursing Home, 74 Main Street, Clogher BT76 0AA on Friday 27th January from 12noon until 4pm. Anna’s remains will leave St Macartan’s Nursing Home at 4.15pm on Friday 27th January and will be received into St Patrick’s Church, Eskra at 5.00pm. Anna’s requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Saturday 28th January followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. We, the family of the late Bridie McGrath wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us on mum’s recent passing.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way, including those who called to the family home, offered their condolences via telephone and messages, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu of flowers and to those who brought gifts of food – all were truly appreciated. Thanks to those who lined the funeral route and to those who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam. 

Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped at our home during mum’s wake. Our thanks to Victor Johnson for the use of the Gospel Hall for car parking and to all those who helped with the co-ordination and smooth running of the transport to the family home.

A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support to mum over the past year, for the comforting Requiem Mass and for delivering such a beautiful tribute to mum. Thanks also to family friend Father Gary Donegan for concelebrating the Mass. We convey our appreciation to the Sacristan and all who assisted with the Mass, especially Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful music and singing.

We are extremely grateful to the staff of Altnagelvin Hospital for the wonderful care mum received in the Sperrin Unit over the last 6 years and in A&E and Ward 24 in her recent illness. We appreciate the care and support they gave to us as a family. Our sincere thanks to the carers who showed such compassion and kindness to mum over the years. We wish to acknowledge the Doctors and staff of Fintona Medical Centre, Una Cassidy, pharmacist and the community nurses who attended to mum’s medical needs.
