(Cranagh and formerly Fintona), peacefully December 3rd 2021 R.I.P.

Brother of the late Jackie and dear uncle of Kevin, Conor, Marie (Conway) and Martin. Cherished grand-uncle of Melissa, Ryan, Nicole, Kerry, Scott, Alana and Eva.

James’ remains will repose at McGuigan’s Funeral Home, 57 Main Street Gortin BT79 8NH on Sunday December 5th between 5pm-8pm. Funeral from there on Monday December 6th at 10.15am going to St Patrick’s Church, Cranagh, for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his entire family circle.

The family of the late Seamus Treanor of 71 Tattyreagh Road, Omagh, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, funeral service & burial and who provided emotional and practical support during this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to the staff and students at Sacred Heart College, the paramedics and PSNI who attended to Seamus at his time of need. To Tattyreagh GAA club for providing refreshments after the funeral; Fr. Peter O’Kane and Fr. Hassan for their spiritual support; all those who participated in the Mass, especially Fr Hassan PP and Fr McCaville; the musicians Marie Campbell, Louise Kirwan and Barry Kirwan; to Drumragh grave diggers for preparing Seamus’ final resting place; and finally, McAtees Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. Richards’ daughter Bronagh, son in law, grandsons and sister wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad and unexpected bereavement.

Thank you to all who sent sympathy cards, Mass cards, called at the house, sent messages via social media and offered their prayers. Thank you also to those who attended the funeral from near and far, watched it via webcam and lined the route on the way to the chapel. The respect shown for Richard was greatly appreciated.

Our heartfelt thanks goes also to our kind neighbours, relatives and friends who offered their help and support during this difficult time.

A special word of thanks to Fr Padraig McKenna P.P and Canon John McKenna who provided kindness and support to the family and celebrated a beautiful meaningful and compassionate requiem mass. Thank you to Mc Atee Funeral Directors for the sensitive and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Thank you to Ciara Fox for the beautiful singing, the florist for the lovely floral arrangements and the gravediggers for preparing Richards final resting place.

A special word of thanks goes to the doctors and nurses of Ward 2, and the Palliative Care team in South West Acute Hospital for their kindness and care of Richard in the days before his death.

Shirley passed away on the 7th of October, a widely respected, devoted family lady and much-loved sister, sister in law, aunt and friend to many.  We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.  We have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of mass and sympathy cards and private messages we have received. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Our thanks to those who called to the house, who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards, floral tributes, left messages online or via social media and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the service or via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped out in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support at the house and for the comforting Requiem Mass. Treasured father to Claire Kelly (Alex), Francis (Katie), Shane (Tanya), Mark (Danielle). Devoted grandfather to Éila, Aedan, Finley, Cora and Logan. Cherished brother to Mary Gormley and Teresa O’Donnell. Loving son in law to Rene. Seamus will be reposing in his late residence from 10.30am on Thursday 4th November. Seamus will leave his late residence at 9.15am on Saturday 6th November for 10am requiem mass in Sacred Heart Church Omagh followed by his burial in St Mary’s Drumragh Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu kindly accepted for Renal Unit, Omagh c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Seamus will travel from the Tattyreagh Road along the Dublin Road, Great Northern Road and James Street to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church at 9.50am. House private, current Department of Health regulations will apply during the wake with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. Alternatively, the funeral Mass may be viewed via the Drumragh Parish webcam. We the family of the late Chris wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Chris was a much loved son, cherished grandson and treasured brother, uncle, boyfriend and friend to many.
We are overwhelmed and greatly comforted by the numerous messages of condolence, mass and sympathy cards, phone calls and acts of kindness received during this difficult time from many different people. Sincere thanks to our extended family, friends and especially our neighbours who helped out in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family. Our thanks to those who joined us at the funeral Mass both in person and online and thank you to those that stood along the funeral route to pay their respects to Chris as he made his final journey.

We would like to convey a special word of thanks to Father Declan McGeehan for the comforting requiem Mass and his spiritual support at the house. Our appreciation also to everyone who assisted with the Mass. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

We also extend a sincere thank you to the Emergency Services for their help and care for Chris on the Sunday evening, their kindness will be remembered with gratitude.

McCusker Richard (Trillick) formerly of 98 Effernan Road, Trillick BT78 3SE died peacefully at the South West Acute Hospital on Thursday 21st October 2021. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Bridie). Treasured father to Bronagh and father in law to Colum. Devoted grandfather to Dylan and Christopher. Cherished brother to Evelyn, Bernadette Eccles, Philip and the late James, Charles and George. Richard will be reposing in his late residence from 8pm on Friday 22nd October. Richard will leave his late residence at 10.15am on Sunday 24th October for 11am requiem mass in St. Macartan’s Church, Trillick followed by his burial in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Richard will travel from the Effernan Road onto Main Street and along the Kilskeery Road to arrive at St Macartan’s Church at 10.50am. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be private with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. Alternatively the funeral Mass may be viewed via the Kilskeery Parish webcam. McMullan Phyllis, Fintona, formerly of 122A Main Street Fintona BT78 2AE died peacefully at home on Wednesday 20th October 2021. Beloved daughter of Phyllis and the late James. Much loved sister to Jimmy and sister in law to Tina. Phyllis’s funeral service will take place at Gibson’s funeral home Convoy, Co Donegal at 1pm on Saturday 23rd October, followed by her burial in the family plot in St Johnston Presbyterian Church Yard. Deeply regretted by her loving mother, brother, sister in law and entire family circle. To know her was to love her.
