McDonagh Martin, Newry, late of 25 Ummeracam Road, Silverbridge, Newry BT35 9PB, and formerly of Fintona, Co Tyrone, died on Saturday 23rd September 2023.  Beloved son of the late Jim and May. Treasured brother of Gerard (Ann), Jimmy (Una), Mary (the late Michael), Kitty (Jimmy), Jackie (Sammy), Sharon (Kieran), Matthew, Heather and Rory (Eadaoin). Loving and devoted uncle to his nephews and nieces.

Celine’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St. Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 30th September at 07:00 pm.

The family of the late James would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. James was a widely respected gentleman and a dearly loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way.   Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards or flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake house, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon PP and Father Declan McGeehan CC for their spiritual support and Father Declan for the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our singer Gerarda McCann who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing James’ final resting place. Our thanks also to The Village Inn for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

And finally, we would especially like to sincerely thank Ryan Hawkes for his support and comfort to James and for calling the emergency services. We also send our grateful thanks to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, the PSNI and the Northern Ireland Coroner’s Office for their exemplary care of James and the kindness and compassion shown to our family at the time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude, everyone’s support has not gone unnoticed. Thank You.

James is forever loved and sadly missed, may his gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, his Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher at 10am on Saturday 23rd September. Our Lady pray for him.

The death has occurred of Michael Montague, Dromore, Co Tyrone.

Montague Michael, formerly of 25 Omagh Road, Dromore, Co Tyrone, BT78 3AH died peacefully at home on Thursday 14th September 2023. Beloved husband of the late Ena. Treasured father of Andrea McCaul (Garry), Cian (Nuala) and the late Michael. Devoted and loving grandfather of Aoife, Orla and Aisling. Cherished brother of Jim (Ann-Marie), Mary Lynch (Conor), and Damian (Angela).

Michael will be reposing in his late residence from 11am on Saturday 16th September. House Private. Michael will leave his late residence at 10.40am on Monday 18th September for 11am requiem Mass in St Davog’s Church, Dromore followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route Michael will travel from the Omagh Road to arrive at St Davog’s Church at 10.50am.

Boyle Anna, (nee Kennedy), Fintona, Co Tyrone, died peacefully at home on Saturday 9th September 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Jim and treasured mother of Tommy, John, Francie, Marie (McManus), Kitty (Loughran), Bridie, Phyllis (O’Hanlon), Mickey, Jacqueline (Spangler), Cecelia, Eileen (Donnelly) and Brenda. Loving and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Anna will be reposing in her late residence 110 Corbo Road, Seskinore, BT78 2QP from 12noon until 10pm on Sunday 10th September 2023 and from 10am until 10pm on Monday 11th September. There will be a shuttle bus to the Wake house from McKenna Engineering, 29 Garvallagh Road, BT78 2QW from 2pm each day.
Anna will leave her late residence at 10.20am on Tuesday 12th September for 11am requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Thank you to District Nurse Siobhan McGoldrick and the Marie Curie Nurse who promptly arrived at the house on the day of Andy’s passing. We are very grateful for all your assistance with Andy’s care during his short illness.

Cherished brother of Ceila Donaghy, Rosemary McGirr, Deni McKiernan, Katie Curran, Bodie Green, Lucy Teague, Murty Bradley, Mairead McCann and Sean. Son of the late James and Josephine.

James will be reposing in his late residence from 7pm on Friday 25th August. House private on morning of funeral. James will leave his late residence at 9.00am on Monday 28th August for 10am requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route James will travel from Crocknacor Road and along the Drumnakilly Road, Farmhill Road, Old Mountfield Road and Tirquin Road to arrive at St. Mary’s Church for 9.55am.
