The death has occurred of Steven Mcguigan, Eskra, Co Tyrone.

McGuigan Steven, (Eskra) Co Tyrone, formerly of 24 Ballyness Road, Eskra, Clogher, BT76 OUD died peacefully at home on Friday the 3rd May 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Stephanie. Treasured father of Conall (Niamh), Clodagh, Cahill and Cuan. Adored son of Hazel and the late Ray. Loving & devoted grandfather of Fiadh and Saerlaith. Cherished brother of Colin.

Steven will be reposing in his late residence from 12noon until 10pm on Saturday 4th May and Sunday 5th May. There will be a shuttle bus service from 2pm on Saturday and from 12noon on Sunday, from the Ecclesville Centre.

Steven will leave his late residence at 2.00pm on Monday 6th May 2024, for 3pm requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Eskra followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Marie Curie c/o McAtee Funeral Directors.

For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Steven will travel from the Ballyness Road, along the Kilnahusogue Road, Altnaveragh Road and Eskragh Road to arrive at St Patrick’s church at 2.50 pm.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughter, daughter in law, mother, grandchildren, brother and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.

  1. I am simply devastated to hear the dreadful news of Stevie’s passing. He was the best of craic back in our teenage days. God love his poor family, Steph, Hazel, Collie , his kids n grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by so many. Shine bright Stevie . I’ll remember you very fondly for sure ❤️ x

  3. So shocked and saddened to hear this terrible news. Whether it was a slow afternoon in the video shop or careering round the back roads in a parents car, Stevie had us in stitches most of the time. Condolences to Steph, Hazel and the whole family.
