McCann, Rose (neé Grugan), Fintona, Co Tyrone, formerly of Racrane Court, Fintona, died peacefully on the 23rd July 2026 in Hillcrest Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Billy. Treasured mother of Liam (Joan), Cathal (Teresa), Eugene (Julie) and Bertella McKernan (Eamonn) and the late Sean (late Noreen). Loving and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren (late Tiernan), and great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Bridget (O’Keefe), Annie (Taggart) and the late Hugh, Isa (Loughran), Mary (McKinley), Willie, Owen, John and Charlie.
Rose will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone, BT78 2BY from 2pm until 9pm both days on Friday 24th July 2026 and Saturday 25th July 2026.
Rose will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 1.30pm on Sunday 26th July 2026 for 2pm requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, with donations in lieu if so desired, kindly accepted for Dementia NI c/o McAtee Funeral Directors, 163 Edergole Road, Fintona BT78 2NQ.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route Rose will travel from the Carnalea Road, and along Main Street, the Tattymoyle Road and the Lisdergan Road to arrive at St. Lawrence’s Church for 1.50pm.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, in-laws and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.
