The death has occurred of Rosaleen (Rosie) Donnelly, Fintona, Co Tyrone.

Donnelly, Rosaleen (Rosie), neé McCaul, Fintona, Co Tyrone, formerly of 9 Abbey Bungalows (Back Lane), Fintona, BT78 2FH died peacefully at home on Saturday 16th May 2026. Beloved wife of the late Laurence. Treasured sister of Jim and the late Bernard, Pat, John, Joe, Molly McGoldrick, Margaret Crudden and Mary-Ellen Crudden. Loving and devoted aunt to her nephews and nieces. Daughter of the late Terence and Mary.

Rosie will be reposing in her late residence from 7pm until 10pm on Monday 18th May 2026 and from 2pm until 9pm on Tuesday 19th May 2026.

Rosie will leave her late residence at 10.30am on Wednesday 20th May 2026 for 11am requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Cuan Mhuire (NI) Ltd, c/o McAtee Funeral Directors, 163 Edergole Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone, BT78 2NQ.

For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route Rosie will travel from Abbey Bungalows, and along the Back Lane, Main Street, Tattymoyle Road and the Lisdergan Road to arrive at St Lawrence’s Church for 10.50am

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving brother, in-laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for her.

  2. As a child I remember staying at Rosie and Lawrence’s many times when they lived in Manchester. They both loved children so much and had great patience with all the nieces and nephews. Moving to Fintona was the best move ever for them both. Special thanks to Frances and her family for always being there for Rosie. Rosie had a great sense of humour, whose stories will stay in our memories for years. A truly lovely Aunt who loved all her family. RIP Rosie 💚🙏
