The death has occurred of Monica Gallagher Tattyreagh, Omagh

Monica Gallagher Tattyreagh, nee Donnelly died suddenly at her late residence on 26 July 2020. Beloved wife of Emmett. Cherished mother to Brendan (Etain), Hugh (Gemma), Micheál and Turlough. Devoted grandmother to Connor and Aoife. Loving sister of Gerry, Brendan, Christine Kelly, Sean and the late Tom and Teresa. Monica will be reposing in her late residence 8 Letfern Road, Tattyreagh, Omagh BT78 1QE from 8pm on Monday 27th July. Monica will leave her late residence on Wednesday 29th July at 9.15am for 10am requiem mass in Sacred Heart Church Omagh followed by burial in Magheralough Cemetery Trillick. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Monica will travel along the Letfern road, Tattyreagh Road, Kelvin Road, James Street to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church for 9.50am. In light of the Coronavirus virus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the wake will be private with social distancing adhered to at the service. Alternatively, the funeral mass can be viewed on the Drumragh Parish webcam. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, sons, daughter’s in-law, grandchildren, sister, brothers, in-laws, nephews, nieces, and entire family circle. St Padre Pio pray for her.

  2. Was very moved by the beautiful Requiem Mass today for the repose of Monica’s soul. R I P. Thinking of all of the Gallagher and Donnelly families as they come to terms with the loss of Monica from their lives. I was fortunate to spend a fair bit of time on my “holidays” in Stranagomer as a child and have lovely memories of my time there. We had some craic – all innocent fun and plenty of divilment.
