The death has occurred of Michael Colgan, Fintona, Co Tyrone.

Colgan Michael, (Fintona, Co Tyrone) formerly of 40 Tattymoyle Road, Fintona BT78 2NX died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday 30th June 2021. Beloved husband of the late Patricia. Cherished father to Damian, Eithna Christy (Joe), Collette Walsh (Ciaran), Aiden (Maeve) and the late baby Deirdre. Treasured brother to Vincent and the late Rita Curran, Jim, Francis and Paddy. Devoted Grand Father to his 10 grandchildren. Michael will leave his late residence at 10.40am on Saturday 3rd July 2021 for 11am requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Michael will travel from the Tattymoyle Road, along the Lisdergan Road to arrive at St Lawrence’s Church for 11am. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be private with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. Family Flowers only please and donations in lieu kindly accepted for Marie Curie c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. Alternatively, the funeral mass may be viewed via the Donacavey parish webcam. Deeply regretted by his sons, daughters, daughters in law, sons in law, brother, sisters in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.
