The death has occurred of Michael Barry

Barry Michael, Irvinestown died peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital on the 22th September 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved partner of Sheila Gormley. Husband of the late Ann. Devoted father to Ian, Stephen, Janet, father in-law to Louise and Heather. Grandfather to Lewis, Joseph, Beth and Louisa. Brother to Buddy, James, Denis, Maura Marshall, Ellen Lynch and the late Breda Ryan. Michael will be reposing at his partners residence 128 lack Road, Irvinestown BT94 1BQ from 4pm on Tuesday 24th September. Michael will leave his partners residence at 3pm on Wednesday 25th September to return to Manchester for funeral and burial, time and date to be confirmed. Deeply regretted by his loving partner, sons, daughter, daughter’s in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, in-laws, nephews, nieces, and entire family circle. St Padre Pio pray for him.

  2. Just heard of Mike’s passing. So sorry to hear this news. I will always associate Mike with the great time we had in Spain Portugal Ibiza and the Caribbean. Sunshine, Songs and Fun. Dingle Bay will never be sung so sweetly again. Goodbye Mike. Rest easy.

  9. Very sad to hear of the passing of Michael. Had some great sessions in the past with Enjoy Travel Had a very beautiful voice . I am sure he will be singing up there now with the Angels ????

  11. Hello Sheila, sincere sympathy to you and Mikes family. Many a good chat we had on the Enjoy Travel trips to Spain. I remember one morning in Ibiza about 5am we were ready for bed and Michael said “Paddy bring that acoustic guitar out to the pool and we will sing Mc Cafferty” Mike produced two Bacardi so that’s what we did. RIP Mike
