Woods, Martha (nee Byrne) 14 Routingburn Road, Eskra, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, died peacefully at home on Saturday 2nd March 2024. Beloved wife of the late Packie. Treasured mother to PJ, Seamus (Paula), Gerald (Paula), Mary Smith (Paul), Margaret Harrington (John), Carmel Kelly (Martin) and the late Michael. Loving and devoted grandmother to her sixteen grandchildren and twelve Great Grandchildren. Cherished sister of Sadie Mc Menamin, Rev Sister Mary-Joseph, Kathleen Doherty and the late Philip, John, Alec, Frank and Mary Mc Hugh.
Martha will be reposing in her late residence between the times of 3pm and 9pm on Saturday and 1pm and 9pm on Sunday. There will be a shuttle bus service from 5pm until 9pm on Saturday and from 1pm until 9pm on Sunday from Hacketts Shop Newtownsaville, people are asked to park at there between these times.
Martha will leave her late residence at 11.15am on Monday 4th March for 12noon requiem Mass in St Patricks Church Eskra followed by her burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Marie Curie c/o McAtee Funeral Directors.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Martha will travel along the Routingburn Road, Killadroy Road and Newtownsaville Road, to arrive at St Patricks Church Eskra for 11.55am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Blessed Lady pray for her.
