The death has occurred of Mark Gillespie Omagh

Gillespie Mark Omagh died peacefully 14th May 2020 in Springlawn Nursing Home. Beloved husband to Helen (Askin) Devoted father to Maria (Quinn), Anne (Rooney) and Conor. Loving father in-law Neil, Peter and Maryclaire (Taggart).Much loved Grandfather to Caolan, Se, Sarah, Dara, James and Odhran. Cherished brother to Briege (Donnelly), Mary (Sexton) and the late Sean, Susan (Southward) and baby Nora. Mark’s remains will leave his late residence, 8 Pinewood Avenue Omagh at 9.30am on Saturday 16th May 2020 for 10am requiem mass in St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher followed by his burial afterwards in St. Lawrence’s Graveyard Fintona at 11.15am. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Mark will leave Pinewood at 9.30am and travel along the Hospital Road, Cookstown Road, Knocknamoe Road to arrive at St Mary’s Church for 10am. In light of the Coronavirus virus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the wake and funeral will be strictly private. Alternatively the funeral mass can be viewed on the Cappagh Parish webcam. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of Sperrin Unit, Altnagelvin Hospital, c/o Mc Atee Funeral Directors. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, son, daughters, sons in-law, daughter in-law, sisters, grandchildren, in laws, nephews, nieces, and entire family circle.
