The death has occurred of Marie O’Brien, Fintona, Co Tyrone.

O’Brien Marie (nee Carroll) Fintona, died peacefully at her late residence 21 Dromore Road, Fintona BT78 2BB on Sunday 3rd April 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Charlie. Treasured mother of Charles (Ursula), Tommy (Bernie), Bernadette Campbell (Colin), Rosaleen Brannigan (Jim) and Seamus. Devoted Grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Cherished twin sister of Bridie Madden (London) and sister of the late Johnny and Tommy. Marie will be reposing in her late residence from 10.30am on Monday 4th April. Marie will leave her late residence at 10.30am on Wednesday 6th April for 11.00am requiem Mass in St Lawrence’s Church Fintona, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Ukraine Appeal c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Marie will travel from the Dromore Road, along the Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road, to arrive at St Lawrence’s Church for 10.50am. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for her.

    1. Thanks Patrick and Patricia. My Mum had a very peaceful death and I was at her side at the end. We had a lovely send off for her so the family are very much at peace with her passing.
