Carlin James (Jimmy) Fintona, formerly of 7 Mitchelbourne Terrace, Fintona, Co Tyrone BT78 2BE died suddenly at home on Saturday 16th July 2022. Cherished father of Conor. Treasured brother of John, Kitty, Paddy, Tina Friel, Ann Convey, Paul and the late Una Thompson. Beloved son of the late James and Tessie. House private. Jimmy’s remains will leave Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona BT78 2BY at 6.40pm on Tuesday 19th July and will travel from the Carnalea Road, along Main Street, Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road to be received in St Lawrence’s Church at 7pm. Jimmy’s requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 20th July at 11am followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Care for Cancer c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving son, brothers, sisters, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.

Im in complete shock as ive just seen this. Can not believe Jimmy has passed away. He was such a lovely man always so helpful when i worked in the surgery.we had loads of wee chats and laughs. Im so sorry to see this big hugs to all his family xxxx
