Corey James, Omagh, Co Tyrone, formerly of 5 Drumannon Rise, Omagh, BT78 5FA. Died peacefully at home on Saturday 9th May 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Sharon (neé Grace). Treasured father of Josh (Emma), Emma-Rose and Aaron. Cherished brother of Thomas, Paul, Mary (late Gerry), Claire (Liam), and the late Christopher. Son of the late Seamus and Florence. Brother in law of Jason, Rachel, Warren, Frank and the late Timothy Jnr. Son in law of Timothy and Sylvia.
James will be reposing in his late residence from 2pm until 9pm on both Sunday 10th May and Monday 11th May.
James will leave his late residence at 9.15am on Tuesday 12th May for 10am requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Omagh, followed by his burial afterwards in St. Davog’s Cemetery, Dromore.
Family flowers only, with donations in lieu, kindly accepted for Marie Curie c/o McAtee Funeral Directors, 163 Edergole Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone, BT78 2NQ.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, James will leave his late residence at 9.15am and will travel from Drumannon Rise, and along the Dromore Road to arrive at Sacred Heart Church for 9.40am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, brothers, sisters, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.

I was devastated to hear about James’s passing. The loss of someone so vibrant, so full of life—someone who ran the Dublin marathon just last year and fought with such courage through his illness—leaves a void that is hard to comprehend.
The kind of love you guys have does not disappear. It changes shape, but it remains.
I did not know James well, but it was very clear that the two of you had something rare—a real partnership, a real love. That is visible to anyone who knew you both.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you, to Josh, Emma-Rose and Aaron, and to all the family during this incredibly difficult time. James will always be remembered with so much love by everyone whose lives he touched.
I know only too well how heavy these days can feel, James is far too young to have left you all. Whilst the coming days, weeks and years will be filled with heart ache please also know that you will cherish the memories and love does not fade.
I truly wish you peace and comfort in the days ahead, and strength for all of you as you navigate this loss together. May it bring some solace to know that James is no longer in pain and is now at rest.
