The death has occurred of James (Jim) Beattie, Fintona, Co Tyrone.

Beattie James (Jim), formerly of 140 Kilnahusogue Road, Fintona BT78 2ET. Died peacefully at home on Monday 19th July 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Mary. Treasured father to Caroline, Martin, Josephine (Harper), Angeline and Winifred. Father in law to Keith. Devoted grandfather to Eli and Noah. Cherished brother to Joan Bratton (Armagh) and the late Molly, Kathleen and Helen. James will leave his late residence at 10.20am on Wednesday 21st July 2021 for 11am requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, James will travel from the Kilnahusogue Road, along the Ecclesville Road and Lisdergan Road to arrive at St Lawrence’s Church for 10.55am. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be private with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. Family Flowers only please and donations in lieu kindly accepted for Marie Curie c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. Alternatively, the funeral mass may be viewed via the Donacavey parish webcam. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters, son, son in law, grandchildren, sister, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.
