The death has occurred of Gussie McDonald, Fintona.

Mc Donald Gussie, (Fintona) formerly of 4 Shilling Court, Fintona, BT78 2HH, died suddenly on 1st August 2021. Beloved partner of Heather. Treasured father to Corina Goan (Christopher) and Charlie Maginnes (Andrew) and former husband of Sheila. Devoted grandfather to Lily, Cormac and Evie. Cherished brother to Charlotte Spridell, Josie, Christine Gibson and the late Mary Mullen, Carmel Gartland, Patsy and Eddie. Gussie will leave his late residence at 10.25am on Thursday 5th August 2021 for 11am requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church Fintona followed by his burial in the adjoining Cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Gussie will travel from Shilling Court along Craigavon Road, Mill Street, Main Street, up the bray (past former Police Station), Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road to arrive at 10.55am. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be private with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. Family flowers only donations in lieu kindly accepted for Chest Heart and Stroke Association c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. Deeply regretted by his loving partner, daughters, their mother, sons in law, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.
