Tunney Eleanor, Trillick, Co Tyrone, (nee McArow) formerly of 2 Cavanamara View, Trillick BT78 3SL, died peacefully in Altnagelvin Hospital, on Sunday 2nd July 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Kevin. Dearly beloved mother of Deirdre McGuinness (the late Michael), Eleanor, Kate Deaguara (Patrick), Nuala and Pauline. Loving and devoted grandmother of Kevin, Katie, Liam, Connor, Grace, Jude, Daniel and Caroline. Sister of the late Thomas.
Eleanor will be reposing in her late residence from 2pm on Monday 3rd July 2023. Eleanor will leave her late residence at 10.40am on Wednesday 5th July for 11am requiem mass in St Macartan’s Church, Trillick followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Eleanor will travel from Cavanamara View, along the Effernan Road and Kilskeery Road to arrive at St Macartan’s Church at 10.50am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for her.

I’m so sorry to hear of Aunt Eleanor’s passing. I remember her as a kind lady and a good friend to my Mom. I pray she rests in peace. You are all in our prayers and thoughts.

Aunt Eleanor was one of a kind and one of the sweetest women I have ever known. I like to think that she’s out there with my mom having a good laugh and a nice cup of tea, catching up on all the juicy gossip.
