The death has occurred of Donald Mellon, Fintona, Co Tyrone.

Mellon Donald, (Fintona, Co Tyrone) formerly of 5a Ecclesville Heights, Fintona BT78 2DG died peacefully at his daughter Berenice’s home on Saturday 27^th June 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Anna. Treasured father of Donald (Roisin), Berenice (Francis), Brendan, Gary (Noeleen), and Niall (Mary-Louise). Loving and devoted grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cherished brother of Kathleen Gallagher (Eugene), John (Bernie), Gerry (Goretti) and the late Patsy and Mary Murray (Dan).

Donald’s wake will take place in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, BT78 2BY from 2pm until 9pm both days, on Sunday 28^th June 2026 and Monday 29^th June.

Donald will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 10.30am on Tuesday 30^th June 2026 for 11am requiem Mass in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Donald will travel from the Carnalea Road, and along Main Street, the Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road to arrive at St. Lawrence’s Church for 10.50am.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, brothers, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.
