O’Hagan, Desmond (Des), Eskra, Co Tyrone, formerly of 104 Corkhill Road, Eskra, Omagh, BT78 1UX, died peacefully in Omagh Primary Care Complex on Thursday 20th August 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Treasured brother of Eamon (Kathleen RIP), Kathleen Blacker (John) and the late Una Toal (John RIP), Tony (Pauline) and Tommy (Agnes RIP). Beloved son of the late Thomas and Winifred. Loving and devoted uncle to his nephews and nieces.
Des’ wake will take place in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, BT78 2BY from 6.30pm until 9pm on Friday 21st August 2026 and from 2pm until 9pm on Saturday 22nd August 2026.
Des will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 10.50 am on Sunday 23rd August 2026 for 11.30am requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona followed by his burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Eskra.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Des will travel from the Carnalea Road and along Main Street, the Tattymoyle Road and the Lisdergan Road, to arrive at St. Lawrence’s Church, for 11.10am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving brother, sister, sisters in law, brother in law, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.

He was always much loved and will be hugely missed
Sorry to hear of Dessie’s death. I worked for him as a Quantity Surveyor 46 years ago.
I’m sorry to learn of Des’s passing. I would like to offer my condolences to the family.
I enjoyed Des’s company on many occasions.
