The death has occurred of Dermott McLaughlin, Dromore, Co Tyrone.

McLaughlin Dermott, Dromore, formerly of Montague Villas, Dromore, BT78 3AR. Died peacefully at home on Sunday the 19th March 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Dympna. Treasured father of Brian (Marlena), Tracy, Noel (Sarah), Paula and Donna. Loving and devoted grandfather to his 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Cherished brother of Liam, Brendan, Dom, Angie (McElroy) and the late Pat, Eddie, Noel, Cathal, Barney, Malachy, Eugene, Margaret (Milward), Dympna (Fleming) and Mary (Hannigan).
Dermott will be reposing in his late residence from 7pm until 10pm on Sunday the 19th of March and on Monday 20th March from 11am until 10pm. Dermott will leave his late residence at 10.30am on Tuesday 21st of March for 11am requiem mass in St Davog’s Church, Dromore, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family Flowers only please with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Marie Curie c/o McAtee Funeral Directors.
For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route Dermott will travel from Montague Villas and along the Omagh Road to arrive at St Davog’s Church at 10.50am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, daughters in law, grandchildren, brothers, sister, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.
