So sad to hear of the passing of Chris or “Starsey” as I called him. We were in the same year at St George’s and Starsey was a a great character to be around. If there were shenanigans to be had then he would would not to be far away from the centre of it ( or the cause).
If there was one song that could sum up our time at school, then it would have to be “Baggy trousers” by Madness. ( it could even have been written for him)
My condolences to all his family at this very sad time.
I’m sure there’ll be plenty of shenanigans up above now as Chris will surely be there.
Rest in Peace Starsey…

Rest Easy Chris. You were one of my dad’s greatest friends, little did anyone know that years later and without any introduction me and your son Andrew would also become the best of friends. Sincere condolences to Julie, Andrew, James and the rest of the family. Thoughts are with you all.

Very saddened to hear of the passing of Chris. I was page boy at Janet and Ray’s wedding and I remember him at Church of our ladies lisson grove. I also see him around a few times in years after that. My dad was one of the Paddington Stop mob with Chris and others. I look forward to having a drink in the future to celebrate his life. RIP Chris, strength and love to your family and friends.
