The death has occurred of Christopher (Christy) Goodman, Fintona, Co Tyrone.

Goodman Christopher (Christy) Fintona, Co Tyrone, formerly of 18 Ecclesgrove, Fintona, BT78 2BH died peacefully on Tuesday 26 May 2026 at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Loving partner of Joanne, treasured father of Charlene (Thomas), Darren (Kelly), Christine Fisher (Michael) and Holly. Loving and devoted grandfather to his 8 grandchildren. Cherished brother of Tommy, Paul, Laurence, Elizabeth Clyde, Patricia McWilliams, Christina Mulholland, Philomena Mitchell and the late Teresa Hamilton, Hughie, Josie Mulholland, John, Patsy, Seamus, Eileen Reid and baby Francis.

Christy will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, BT78 2BY from 7pm until 9pm on Friday 29^th May 2026, and from 2pm until 9pm on Saturday 30^th May 2026.

Christy will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 12.30pm on Sunday 31^st May 2026 for 1pm Requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Christy will travel from the Carnalea Road, and along Church Street, Main Street, the Tattymoyle Road and the Lisdergan Road to arrive at St. Lawrence’s Church for 12.50pm.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving partner, daughters, son, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.
