Reid Bernadette, affectionately known as Bernie, (nee Loughran), Sixmilecross, Co Tyrone, formerly of 8 Church Road, Gortaclare, Sixmilecross, Co Tyrone BT79 0XH died peacefully at home on Saturday 11th July 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Kieran. Treasured mother of Joseph (Charlene), Vincent, Mary Catherine (Luke) and Paul. Cherished sister of Maggie Smith (Colin), Sadie Girvan (Patrick), Kathleen McBride (late Chris), Patrick (late Joan), Hughie (Kitty), and the late Mary, Tina and Thomas. Daughter of the late Thomas and Bridget.
Bernie will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, BT78 2BY from 6pm until 9pm on Tuesday 14th July 2026 and from 2pm until 9pm on Wednesday 15th July 2026

Bernie will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 10.20am on Thursday 16th July for 11am requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Beragh, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Bernie will travel from the Carnalea Road, along the A5, and via Church Road and Main Street to arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Conception for 10.55am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, daughter in law, sons in law, sisters, brothers, in-laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady and St. Bernadette pray for her.

She was a lovely lady, i had the priviledge of knowing through her work in supporting her childrens schools over the years. So sad to hear this news. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
