Bernard A. Treanor of Little Rock, Arkansas and formerly of Fintona Co. Tyrone died peacefully on 12th September 2020. Son of the late Thomas and Bridgett Treanor. Father of, Elizabeth Treanor (Kyle Kitchens) of Roland, Rebecca Treanor (Chase Valentine) of Bee Branch, Stephen (Felicia) Treanor of Little Rock; grandfather to, Chandler and Riley Kitchens, Logan, and Lane Valentine. Brother to Briedge Henry, Rosemary Hayes, Ann Walsh, Rita Treanor, Stephen Treanor and James Treanor.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Treanor; siblings, Thomas, Brendan and Francis Treanor and Theresa Corrigan. Barney moved to Arkansas in 1979, becoming a United States citizen shortly after. Barney was a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical center for thirty-six years. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Deeply regretted by his loving son, daughters, brothers, sisters, in-laws, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. St Padre Pio pray for him.

    I had the pleasure of working with Barney at St Vincent’s. He was an excellent nurse and a very kind friend. My condolences to all the family and friends. RIP dear friend.

    A real card was barney a long long time ago myself a 2 others we’re thumbing from omagh barney came along slowed down and said u boy’s going 2 fintona yes we said at that barney said good I’ll c yous up there and drove of later on I nursed with him a character for sure RIP barney

    Very sorry to hear of Barney’s passing. I usually met Barney when he came home on his holidays and really enjoyed his company. A scholar and a gentleman and may he rest in peace. Sincerest condolences to the Treanor family and family circle.
