Connolly John Fintona died peacefully on Tuesday 1st September 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Husband of Maureen, devoted father of Peter, John, Gerard and Stephen and the late Eugene. Father in law of Karen, Grandfather of Melissa, Liam, Ciara and Cathal. Brother of Eugene, Madge, Anna and the late Bernard, Peter, Bridget, Helen and Pat. John will leave his late residence 121 Tattymoyle rd Fintona at 6.15pm on Thursday 3rd September to arrive at St Lawrence’s chapel Fintona for 7pm.His funeral mass will take place on Friday 4th September at 11am burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House strictly private. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughter inlaw, grandchildren, sisters, brother, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. St Padre Pio pray for him.

Gerard, I don’t think I know you personally, but I knew your Dad. The last time I saw your Dad was about 40 years ago in the old Mc Atee’s bar. He was having a quiet drink with Vinny Mc Ateein the late afternoon when the work was done. That conversation between old friends was something I will never forget.
