Died 11th May 2026

The recent untimely loss of our much loved Jacqueline has left a deep void in the lives and hearts of all who knew and loved her. Jacqueline was a widely respected and valued member of the local community, but primarily she was a devoted family lady. Precious wife of Justin, adored daughter of Chris (Tony) and the late Kevin. Dearly loved sister of Jason (Karen) and twin sister of Martina (Louise), the much loved aunt of Turlough, Autumn and Ruby and a very dear friend to many.

We her family are all heartbroken by the loss of Jacqueline, but we are greatly consoled by the outpouring of support, loving care and attention shown to us by all who crossed our paths, both during Jacqueline’s illness and at her wake and funeral. We wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home. Thank you to those who helped or brought food this was truly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who telephoned, sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers, or donations in lieu for Care for Cancer. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass, especially those who travelled long distances to be with us.
We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and the wider community, throughout this difficult time, your support has helped us in so many ways, to find strength and grieve together as a family.

A special word of thanks to Very Rev. Father Kevin McElhennon P.P for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, Eucharist ministers, and our musicians Sinead Taggart and Rory Madden, who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music, which added so much to the funeral service.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Ciaran for preparing Jacqueline’s final resting place. Also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the beautiful floral tribute, and to Conor and staff in the Coach Inn for the very welcome refreshments after the burial.

And finally we would like to sincerely thank all the medical professionals with whom Jacqueline came into contact, especially the Respiratory Nurses in Altnagelvin Hospital. We are very grateful for the kindness and compassion shown both to Jacqueline and our family.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Jacqueline is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, kind and generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Omagh on Saturday 13th June 2026 at 5.30pm. St. Padre Pio pray for her.
