Died 13th April 2026.

We, the family of the late Bill, wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers, and support during our recent sad bereavement. Bill was the beloved husband of Maureen, treasured father of Martin (Mandy), Kieran (Michelle), Aidan (Geraldine) and Liz Moore. Bill was a cherished grandfather to his 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a beloved brother of the late Hugh (Mary).  He was a friend to many in the neighbourhood and parish, and was widely respected by all who knew him.

Thank you to everyone who attended the wake from near and far. To those family members and neighbours who gave their time and helped out in the kitchen, brought food, directed traffic and drove shuttle buses, this was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Adrian O’Neill and Jim MacLaine for providing their premises for parking. Our thanks also to those who brought/sent Mass or Sympathy cards and left messages on social media.  Thank you to all those who lined the funeral route from Bill’s home and who joined us for the Requiem Mass in St Davog’s Church, Dromore.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of many friends, neighbours and work colleagues, who have helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family, we will be forever grateful.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Denis Dolan P.E and Fr. Joseph, for their spiritual support to the family and the comforting Requiem Mass and homily. We convey our appreciation to the Sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, our readers, gift bearers and our musicians Fergal McAloon and Stephen Corrigan.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were organised and carried out, and to the gravedigger Anton for preparing Bill’s final resting place.  Our thanks also to Bumblebee Florists for the beautiful floral tribute and to McElhill Marquees. To the wonderful volunteers at St. Patrick’s Hall for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral, we thank you for your dedication to the parish community.

Finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the health care professionals who came into contact with Bill, especially; the Paramedics, the staff of the Emergency Department and Ward 1of the South West Acute Hospital, GP’s and Nurses, Dromore and Trillick Surgery and to the wonderful Community Carers for their kindness and support.

Please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude and appreciation.  We are indebted to you all.

May Dad’s kind and gentle soul be granted peace and eternal rest.

Bill’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 23rd May at 7.00pm.

Peace is yours, memories are ours.
