Acknowledgement.
Terence Teague, St. Dympna’s Road, Dromore, Co Tyrone.
Died 29th December 2024.

Terence passed away peacefully on the 29th December after a long and industrious life. He was a widely respected, hard-working businessman. But primarily a devoted family man, much-loved husband of Madelaine, adored father of Edel, Deirdre, Conor, Ciaran, Dominic, Peter and Colm, father-in-law of Geraldine, Jill, Nuala and Claire. Dearly loved grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house. Sincere thanks to all who brought food and helped, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu, lined the funeral route and joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues; your support throughout this difficult time has helped us in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and leadership of the comforting Requiem Mass. We also convey our appreciation to the Sacristan; those who assisted in the Liturgy; our readers Niall and Conor Teague and musicians Katie Jane Teague, James McShane and Joan McCrystal who provided the reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out from our first contact with them to the funeral’s conclusion. We thank the gravedigger Eamon for preparing Terence’s final resting place so well and acknowledge Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes. The stellar work of St Patrick’s Hall ladies must be acknowledged for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the staff of Ward 5 in the South West Acute Hospital for caring for Terence in his final weeks and days. We are very grateful for the dedication, professionalism, kindness and respect shown to him.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Terence is loved and missed every day. May his passionate, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Friday 31st January at 7.30pm. Our Lady pray for him.
