Susan McGinn, Mitchelbourne Terrace, Fintona, Co Tyrone.
Died 4th March 2024.

Susan’s children Eamon, Kevin, Kathleen and Geraldine and her extended family wish to express their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported them, through their recent sad bereavement. Susan was a widely respected lady and dearly loved Mother, Mother in law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home. Sincere thanks to all who helped served tea and food, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu, lined the funeral route and to those who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, your support throughout this difficult time has helped us in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and many visits to Susan and for the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Susan’s final resting place. Also to McAtee’s Bar & Restaurant for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the staff of Wards 5 and 6 South West Acute Hospital and Fintona Medical Centre, we are so very grateful for all your care, help and assistance.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Susan is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 20th April at 6.00pm. Our Lady pray for her.
