Acknowledgement. Stephen Garry. Trillick, Co Tyrone. Died 26th September 2023.
Stephen’s wife Mary, children Stephen, Michael, Clare. Aidan, Catriona and his extended family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us, through our recent sad bereavement. Stephen was a dearly loved Husband, Father, Father in law, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
Thank you to those who visited the wake house, sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages or flowers, lined the funeral route and to those who joined us at the Requiem Mass.
Sincere thanks to all of our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us throughout this time in so many ways.
A special word of thanks to Father Padraig MacKenna PP and Canon John Mc Kenna for their spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our traditional musicians, who provided the beautiful uplifting music during the Mass and to our Piper at the cemetery.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for their support, and the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Stephen’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes, to the Trillick Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the burial and to Kilskeery Parish for use of the Chapel Car Park during the wake.
And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all who helped care for Stephen in his final months. His daily carers, staff of the Rapid Response team in Omagh, nurses and doctors from Ward 50 and the Haematology Unit, Altnagelvin and staff of Fintona Medical Centre. We are very grateful for all your help and assistance.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Stephen is loved and missed every day, may his gentle, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Macartan’s Church, Trillick on Sunday 29th October at 11am. St. Padre Pio pray for him.
