Donnelly Peter.
Ecclesville Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone.
Died 6th July 2022.
Peter passed away on the 6th of July, a widely respected, hard-working, devoted family man and much-loved father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of mass and sympathy cards, letters and private messages we have received. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thanks to those who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu of flowers, left messages on-line or via social media and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped out in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musicians Sinead and Caoimhe Loane who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Tommy for preparing Peter’s final resting place.
As a family, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who cared for Peter, especially to those who were present during Peter’s final days and went above and beyond the call of duty. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest appreciation.
Peter’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Friday 12th August 2022 at 7.30pm and may also be viewed via the Donacavey Parish Webcam.
Our Lady pray for him.
