The family of the late Paddy would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all of those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Paddy was a widely respected gentleman and a dearly loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or Sympathy Cards, Flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake house, brought food, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.

Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan and Fr Peter McCawille (SMA) for their spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our musicians Fergal, Mark and Conor McAloon and Mickey Kerr who provided the beautiful music for Paddy’s funeral mass.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the most dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Eamon Colton for preparing Paddy’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheena at Bumble Bee Garden Dromore for the beautiful floral tribute and to the ladies in St Patrick’s Hall for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

And finally, we send our grateful thanks to all the health professionals who helped with Paddy’s care both at home and in Hospital, especially the Doctors and Nurses of the SWAH, McDermott’s Pharmacy, the District Nursing Team and Dromore Surgery. A very special word of thanks to his carers from Lakeland Care who looked after him so diligently and with so much empathy, the family will be ever indebted to everyone involved.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Paddy is ever loved and sadly missed, may his gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, his Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore, Co Tyrone on Saturday 18th May at 7pm. Our Lady pray for him.
