Acknowledgement – Michael Montague, formerly of Omagh Road, Dromore. Died 14th September 2023.
The family of the late Michael Montague would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, or donations in lieu and to those who left messages on line or via social media. We assure you these were greatly appreciated.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family. Thank you to those who called to the wake house, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.
A special word of thanks to Monsignor Andrew Dolan for his spiritual support and the comforting, personal requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to Fr Denis Dolan, Fr Aidan McCrystal, the sacristan and everyone who took part in the liturgy and our singer Molly McKeever who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to Eamon Colton for preparing Michael’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumble Bee Garden for the lovely floral tributes and to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
We would like to express a special thank you to the team of carers who looked after Michael so well on a daily basis. We will be forever grateful for the kindness shown by Mary, Rosie, Angie, Charlotte and Eimear.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us in any way.
Michael’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at 7.00pm Saturday 28th October in St Davog’s Church, Dromore.
