Acknowledgement – Michael McCarney, formerly of Raneese Road, Seskinore. Died 2nd July 2023.
Michael passed away on the 2nd July, a dearly loved brother, uncle and friend. We his family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, or who left messages on line or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake house, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our singer Ciara Fox who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Michael’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tributes and to the St Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally we send our grateful thanks to everyone who cared for Michael in Slieve na Mon and Granard Care Homes. We are very grateful for all your assistance with Michael’s care over the years.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Michael is loved and missed every day, may his gentle soul be granted peace and eternal rest, his Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 5th August at 10am. Our Lady pray for him.
