Acknowledgement – Michael Cunningham, formerly of Church Street, Dromore, BT78 3DY. Died 3rd May 2023.
Michael passed away on the 3rd May, a widely respected gentleman and dearly loved father, father in law, grandfather and brother. We his family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, or who left messages on line or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake house, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our singer Amy-Lee Wilkinson who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Michael’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee garden for the lovely flowers.
And finally we send our grateful thanks to Care for Cancer in Campsie, Omagh. The Palliative Care Nurses Omagh and Enniskillen and the Dromore District Cancer Nurses, for all your assistance with Michael’s care.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Michael is ever loved and sadly missed, may his gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, his Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 24th June at 7pm. Our Lady pray for him.
