We, the family of Mary Murray, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who supported and gave comfort to Mary and her grieving family during her recent illness.
We are most grateful to all the medical professions for their diligent and compassionate care. A particular thanks to Una Cassidy Pharmacist, to all the staff from Strule Medical Practice, Sperrin Suite in Altnagelvin, O.T. team, Beragh District Nurses, Marie Curie Nurses, Nicola McCauley, Carers, Palliative Care Nurses and Rapid Response Team. We sincerely appreciate all those who cared for Mary in her last months and who made it possible for her to remain at home; especially to Bridie, Marie and those who assisted with Mary’s care.
We wish to thank all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us in our recent sad bereavement. We wish to acknowledge all of those who sent mass and sympathy cards, who called to the house, who helped at the wake, who telephoned and who lined the funeral route as we made Mary’s final journey. Sincere thanks to our family, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways.
Heartful thanks to our present and past priests of Donacavey and surrounding Parishes who gave Mary such comfort and support throughout her life and in her final illness. A special thanks to Fr. Kevin Connolly, for his spiritual support and comforting requiem mass. Thank you to all who assisted with the mass, the Sacristan Mary McDermott and to Ceállach Reid who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee funeral directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to Tommy Boyle for preparing Mary’s final resting place. A word of thanks to Tony Morelli and staff in Fintona Golf club for the beautiful food they provided during the wake and after the funeral, and to Ann Johnston for the beautiful flowers.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Mary’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Friday 6th August at 7.30pm.

So sorry to see that Mary had died and my condolences to all the Murray family. I met Mary thru my Aunt, Peggy McKernan (McAtee) years ago on one of my trips home to Fintona. We always got together for lunch and the farmer’s fair. Mary was a wonderful person and generous to a fault. Many laughs and memories from my induction to bingo. I will miss her dearly.
