Acknowledgement – Kathleen (Vonnie) McCusker, formerly of Muldoon Park, Dromore BT78 3AY. Died on 1st August 2023. Beloved wife of the late Brendan McCusker.

Vonnie passed away on the 1st August, a dearly loved aunt and friend. We her family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house, lined the funeral route, and all who attended the funeral Mass.

Sincere thanks to our dear relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways and supported our family. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers and to those who left kind messages online.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our singer, James McShane, who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Vonnie’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the beautiful floral tribute and to the St Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

We send our most sincere thanks to all the health professionals who Vonnie came into contact with, for their kindness and compassion.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. May Vonnie’s generous gentle soul be granted eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 16th September at 7.00pm. Our Lady pray for her.
