Acknowledgement – Josephine Gallagher, formerly of Ballintemple, Co Donegal, Died 10th November 2023.

The family of the late Josephine would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Josephine was a dearly loved daughter, sister, sister in law, aunt and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, and to those who left messages on line or via social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake house, brought food, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.

Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Boyce, Father Gallagher and Father O’Baoighill for their spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our musician who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

We would also like to thank Dungloe Community Hospital, everyone at Park House and the local Dungloe businesses for their guard of honour.

And finally we send our grateful thanks to all the health professionals who helped with Josephine’s care, especially Dungloe Community Hospital and all those from Park House.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Josephine is forever loved and sadly missed, may her gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Fionan’s Church, Falcarragh on Saturday 23rd December at 7pm, which would have been Josephine’s 54th birthday. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel pray for her.
