We the family of the late John Mullan wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who supported, sympathised and prayed for us during our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all those who called to the wake at Grianan House Funeral Home, who helped out during the wake, sent Mass / sympathy cards, telephoned and sent messages via phone and social media. Thanks to those who came to John’s receival into St Lawrence’s Church and to those who attended the funeral. Thanks to the staff of Sandra Dowdall and Una Cassidy’s chemists, the staff of Fintona Medical Centre, the rapid response paramedic and the Ambulance Service. A special thanks to the staff of Ward 9 and the Critical Care Unit at SWAH for their care and dedicated attention to John during his time in hospital. To Father Brendan who provided John with spiritual support in his final hours and to Father Seán Mulligan for the very comforting and appropriate Requiem Mass and Eulogy, thank you. Also Father Patrick MacEntee PP for his prayers at John’s graveside. Thanks to all those who participated in John’s Requiem Mass, readers, offertory procession, Eucharistic Ministers, Sacristan and Ceállach Reid who provided the beautiful singing and music. A special thanks to McAtee Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and to Tommy Boyle for preparing John’s final resting place. Also to St Patrick’s Hall Funeral Catering Group for providing the wonderful refreshments after the burial. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 25th February 2023 at 6pm in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona.
