Francy McFarland,

21 Glennan Road,

Omagh.

Died 9th May 2022.

Francy passed away on the 9th of May, a widely respected, much loved brother, uncle, and friend.  We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.  We have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of mass and sympathy cards and private messages we have received. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Our thanks to those who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards or flowers and those who left messages online or via social media. Our thanks to those who attended when Francy’s remains were received in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona and to all those who took part in the funeral service or who joined us via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped out in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musician James McShane who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Tommy for preparing Francy’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Francy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 11th June at 6pm and may also be viewed via the Donacavey Parish Webcam.

Our Lady pray for him.
