Died 3rd May 2023.
Charlotte who passed away on the 3rd May, was a widely respected, devoted family lady and dearly loved mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt and friend.
We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who called to the wake at Grianan House Funeral Home, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family. We would especially like to thank Pat Haigney and Dolores McCrystal, Charlotte’s neighbours and her dear sister Christine Gibson for all their help and support. Also Paul McCullagh who travelled from Dubai to say goodbye to his wee Auntie Charlotte.
A special word of thanks to Fr Sean McCartan PP for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass and to Father Sean Mulligan for his spiritual support, visits and prayers. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers and our singer James McShane who provided the beautiful uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Our thanks also to the grave digger Brendan for preparing Charlotte’s final resting place.
And finally we would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of Fintona Medical Centre, Ward 25 Altnagelvin Hospital, District Nurses, Carers and Marie Curie Nurses for all their support and care, that allowed us to have our Mama pass at home as she wished. We thank you for being so attentive and compassionate throughout Charlotte’s illness.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Charlotte is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Church, Seskinore on Sunday 4th June 2023 at 10.00 am. Our Lady pray for her.
