Acknowledgement – Cathal Lynch, late of Clonmore Gardens, Omagh, and formerly of Garvaghey, Co Tyrone. Died 4th March 2024.
The family of the late Cathal would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Cathal was a dearly loved partner, father, step father, grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards or flowers, and to those who left messages on line or via social media.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Michael O’Dwyer PP for his spiritual support and the comforting, requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also the sacristan and everyone who took part in the liturgy, especially our singer Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Ciaran for preparing Cathal’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tributes.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us in any way.
Cathal is ever loved and sadly missed may his gentle generous soul be granted eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew’s Church, Garvaghey on Sunday 7th April 2024 at 11am.
