Bruce Maclennan, Centenary Park, Omagh, Co Tyrone.

Died 1st March 2024.

The family of the late Bruce wish to express their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported them, through their recent sad bereavement. Bruce was a widely respected gentleman and dearly loved Father, Father in law, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Brother in law, Uncle and Friend.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house. Sincere thanks to all who helped serve tea and food. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, lined the funeral route and to those who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, your kindness throughout this difficult time has helped us in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Father Eugene Hasson PP, for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Jade Doherty who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to Roisin of Nettles & Petals for the beautiful floral tributes. Thank you also to Cavan Crematorium.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals Bruce came into contact with, especially the staff of Ward 32, Altnagelvin Hospital, we are so very grateful for all your care, help and assistance.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Bruce is loved and missed every day. May his gentle, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Omagh on Friday 26th April at 7.30pm. Our Lady pray for him.
