STARRS BRIAN
14th February 2022

We, the family of the late Brian Starrs, who passed away in the South West Acute Hospital on 14th February, 2022, wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our sad bereavement. Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, especially those who travelled long distances. Thank you to all who helped in the house and with parking and bus runs, brought food, floral tributes, Mass and sympathy cards, phone calls and condolences via the web.

Thank you to all who were present along the funeral route, attended the Requiem Mass, or joined with us via the webcam. Special thanks to Fr. Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support to Brian in the months before his death and for the beautiful funeral Mass. Thanks to James McShane and colleague for the beautiful music. Thanks to the sacristan and the gravedigger, who prepared Brian’s final resting place.

Special thanks to Rehab A team at Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex, to staff, nurses and doctors at Ward 5 South West Acute Hospital, to A&E team and Ward 1, for all their attentions to Brian while in their care. Thanks to Fintona Health Centre and Cassidy’s Chemist for their attention to Brian’s medical needs.

To McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Thank you to McAtee’s Restaurant for providing refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Brian’s months mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 11th March at 7.30pm in St. Lawrence’s Chapel, Fintona.
