Acknowledgement – Anthony (Tony) Molloy, formerly of 44 Drumlish Road, Dromore, BT78 3EN.  Died 21st April 2023.

Tony passed away on the 21st of  April, a dearly loved father, father in law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. We his family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way.   Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, or who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.

Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who have helped us to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass and to Father Mc Manus and Canon John Mc Kenna who concelebrated the Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan Patricia and Tony’s grandchildren who took part in the Liturgy. Thanks to our singer James McShane who provided the beautiful music and also to Tony’s grandchildren, Erin and Ella for their lovely instrumental contribution.

Our grateful thanks to St Joseph’s PS Ederney for providing the Guard of Honour.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Nimmy for preparing Tony’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the lovely flowers and to the St Patrick’s Hall ladies committee for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

And finally we send our grateful thanks to the doctors and staff in Dromore surgery and especially the district nurses, for the kindness and compassion shown to Dad, which enabled him to remain at home. Our thanks also to the Marie Curie nurses who helped so much in his final days, and to Ronan and staff at Bradley’s pharmacy for all your assistance with Dad’s care.

Your excellent level of care, professional support and warmth will never be forgotten.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Tony is ever loved and sadly missed, may his gentle soul be granted eternal rest, his Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 3rd June at 7pm. Our Lady pray for him.
