McCarney Seamus (Jessie), Fintona, formerly of 177 Edergole Road, Fintona, BT78 2NQ died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on Saturday 2nd July 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Treasured father of Gary (Cate), Adelle Taggart (Jason) and Niall (Nikita). Former husband of Sheila. Devoted Grandfather to Aodhán, Fergal, Oisín, Catháir, Fianna and Éireann. Cherished brother of Bridget Carland, Gerald, Marian McKenna, Michael and the late Eugene. Seamus will be reposing in his late residence from 12noon on Monday and Tuesday 4th and 5th July, (there will be a shuttle bus from 6pm Monday and Tuesday leaving from the Gospel Hall Car Park). Seamus will leave his late residence at 10.15am on Wednesday 6th July for 11.00am requiem Mass in St Lawrence’s Church Fintona, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Revive (ICU Royal Victoria Hospital) c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Seamus will travel from the Loughmuck Road, along Church Street, Main Street, Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road, to arrive at St Lawrence’s Church for 10.50am. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, their mother Sheila, daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, in-laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.
