The death has occurred of Rita McDonnell, Dromore, Co Tyrone.

McDonnell Rita, (Dromore, Co Tyrone) formerly of 1 Main Street, Dromore BT78 3AE. Died peacefully at the South West Acute Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 13th November 2022. Treasured sister of Kathleen Gallagher, Sheila Logue, Eithne, Elizabeth Johnston and the late Cathal, Tommy, Una Colton, Eugene and Marie. Loving and devoted aunt to her nephews and nieces and grand aunt to her grand nephews and grand nieces. Rita will be reposing in her late residence from 7.00pm on Monday 14th November. House Private. Rita will leave her late residence at 10.30am on Wednesday 16th November for 11am requiem Mass in St Davog’s Church Dromore, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Marie Curie c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Rita will proceed up Main Street, past the Central Bar, out onto the Old Creamery Road and along the Omagh Road, to arrive at St Davogs Church for 10.50am. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sisters, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, in laws, entire family circle and friends. Padre Pio pray for her.
