O’Neill, Mary (nee) Corrigan, Fintona, Co Tyrone, formerly of 85 Garvallagh Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone, BT78 2EN, died peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Friday 3rd April 2026. Beloved wife of the late James. Treasured mother of Marian O’Donnell, Gabriel (late Siobhan), Margaret Meegan (Malachy), Seamus (Colleen), and the late Patricia, Declan (late Mairead), and babies Michael and Josephine. Loving and devoted grandmother to her 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Patsy, Betty Flynn (Perth) and the late Tommy, Mickey, Johnny, Bridie Rafferty and Jim Campbell.
Mary will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, BT78 2BY from 4pm until 10pm on Saturday 4th April 2026 and from 2pm until 9pm on Sunday 5th April 2026.
Mary will leave her late residence at 9.15am on Monday 6th April for 10am requiem Mass in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, with donations in lieu if so desired, kindly accepted for Chest, Heart & Stroke c/o McAtee Funeral Directors and sent to 163 Edergole Road, Fintona, BT78 2NQ.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route Mary will travel from the Garvallagh Road and along the Aghafad Road and the Lisdergan Road, to arrive at St. Lawrence’s Church for 9.50am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons, son in law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother, sister, in-laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for her.
