McDermott Lily (neé McFarland), Omagh, formerly of 165 Clanabogan Road, Omagh, BT78 1SN, died peacefully at the South West Acute Hospital on Thursday 22nd January 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Kevin, treasured mother of Mary McGowan (Tommy), Paddy (Sheila), Elana Love (Kieran), Paula Kerlin and Bernie Meenagh (Damian). Loving and devoted grandmother to her 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Mary Fleming, Cathal, Bridget Maguire, Liám, Jean Dorrian and the late Madge Russell and Francy.
Lily will be reposing in her late residence from 8pm until 10pm on Thursday 22nd January 2026 and from 1pm until 9pm on Friday 23rd January 2026.
Lily will leave her late residence at 11.20am on Saturday 24th January 2026 for 12noon requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
