The death has occurred of Jean O’Neill, Dromore, Co Tyrone.

O’Neill Jean, nee McGuinness (Dromore) Co Tyrone, formerly of 84 Rahoney Road, Dromore, BT78 2LD. Died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday 14th July 2024. Beloved wife of the late Francis. Treasured mother of Maura (late Eamonn), John (Agatha), Vincent (Liz), Carmel, Breige (Noel), Rita (Paddy), Roisin (Gerry), Patricia (Tony), Anne (late John), Terry (Anne), Monica and the late Frankie (Angie). Loving and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Lawrence, Kitty and her late brothers and sisters.

Jean will be reposing in her late residence from 7pm on Monday 15th July 2024. House private on morning of funeral.

Jean will leave her late residence at 10.15am on Wednesday 17th July for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Davog’s Church Dromore, followed by her burial afterwards in St. Dympna’s Cemetery.

For those who wish to show a presence on the Funeral route Jean will travel from the Rahoney Road and along the Lakemount Road, Galbally Road and the Omagh Road to arrive at St. Davog’s Church for 10.50am.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother, sister, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady Pray for her.

  3. Loving sympathy to the family on the death of Jean. May she rest in peace. She was a special loving lady and we were privileged to know her when she and Francie were with us at Sr Rose’s death in Coleraine in 1995.
